By reading and following the steps and advice contained in this book you'll learn how to fly your quad remotely, safely, and securely. I recommend reading this book before choosing the type of quad you would like to fly.
This book will save you time and money. I am a newbie to flying drones but not to reviewing books. As a college professor, my job for 40 years was to write and critique books and manuscripts. Mark Smith has done an excellent job capturing the essence of the drone hobby in a brief, readable and enjoyable book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants an overview of flying quadcopters and drones. Mark doesn't miss the essentials but he also doesn't provide extensive technical details that tend to turn off the average reader. I was able to read Quadcopters and Drones in an evening but have kept it my flight box for future reference. This should be in everyone's library who enjoys flying quadcopters and drones for pleasure or as a professional.
