I have been in the US for 8 years now and soon after I moved here there were a lot of things that looked normal to everybody else but me. They were the things that they mentioned in this book, I wish I had someone to explain me those things like they did in this book . I highly recommend to anyone who is curious about American way is life.

Pretty fun and accurate, this is a great book to share with friends from other countries

When I moved to the USA in 1981 I would have loved to have access to a book like this. Many things of the American way of life were a mystery to me then (sometimes they even are now) and it would have helped to have access to a book like this to overcome the first hurdles. And doing it with a smile. This is a fantastic book. It describes all possible or even impossible situations one can run into while settling into the American way of life and does it in a funny nonderogatory way.

This book is funny, lighthearted and has great details on the American way of life. I found myself laughing at some of the topics that the author highlighted and it’s so true! Very useful book for people coming to the US and navigating through this nation of ours!

I could see myself in many of the situations described here and the book is very fun to read ! Great moment
